The Citizen of the Year Award is used to recognize individuals who selflessly give of their time and energy for the benefit of others.  Despite being an upstanding member of the SAR, Fairfax Resolves chose to honor one of its own as the 2010 Citizen of the Year Award recipient. Lawrence “Larry” McKinley not only clocks thousands of hours of community service each year, most of which are not directly related to the SAR, but his efforts benefit an astonishing array of

organizations. For his outstanding support of youth, and his tireless dedication to so many community service activities, Fairfax Resolves is proud to recognize Larry McKinley as the 2010 Citizen of the Year. Man of the Year 2010 Great Falls resident Lawrence McKinley awarded Fairfax Sons of the American Revolution Citizen of the Year.
