Brief Bio- Brigitta Toruno (President at UNO Communications)

Brigitta Toruño’s love of her native language, Spanish, drove her desire to work with languages and launch UNO Communications in 1998.  Before UNO Communications, she worked to develop a Spanish-English Glossary of Mortgage Terms that was the first of its kind.  UNO offers translation services for more than 70 languages and Spanish interpretation.  Brigitta is a native of the Washington, DC area.  The daughter of an Argentine father and Ecuadorian mother, the goal of Brigitta and UNO Communications is to help immigrants integrate into the US by providing key materials.  This involved providing materials for housing and health in their native language to name a few.
